Independence Day Celebrations held at NIC Jharkhand

The 80th Independence Day Celebrations were observed with great enthusiasm, fervor and patriotic spirit at the NIC Jharkhand State Centre, Ranchi, and District Centres across the State. The office premises were attractively decorated in the colours of the National Flag. Everyone participated in the celebrations with great enthusiasm, while a team of women scientists and employees took special initiative in planning and executing the decorations, giving the event a memorable touch.

During the program, the National Song and the National Anthem were sung collectively. All officers and employees were called upon to discharge their responsibilities with utmost dedication, integrity and a spirit of public service, keeping the national interest as the foremost priority. Emphasis was also laid on the significant role of ICT in strengthening good governance and citizen-centric service delivery.

On the occasion, everyone reaffirmed their commitment to provide high-quality ICT services and technical guidance to the State Government and citizens. Emphasis was also laid on the role of NIC in strengthening digital governance and ensuring effective delivery of e-Governance services to citizens. Independence Day celebrations were also organised at NIC Centres located in all districts of the State, in which District Informatics Officers (DIOs), Additional District Informatics Officers (ADIOs), FMS/Network Engineers and other staff members participated. These celebrations demonstrated NIC’s commitment to extend e-Governance services to the grassroots across different parts of the State.

The celebrations concluded with the distribution of sweets and refreshments among all officers and employees, making the occasion cordial, joyous and memorable.
