ICT Support during inauguration of Jharkhand VidhanSabhaan by Hon’ble Prime Minister at Ranchi, Jharkhand

It was a historical day for Jharkhand when Hon’ble Prime Minister ShriNarendraModiinaugurated newly built Jharkhand VidhanSabha, laid foundation ofnew State of Art Secretariat; inaugurated India’s 2nd Riverine Multimodel Terminal on river Ganga at Sahebganj District of Jharkhand and launched several schemes. The function was held athistorialPrabhat Tara ground, Ranchi, Jharkhandin gracious presence of Smt. DraupadiMurmu, Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand, ShriArjunMunda, Minister of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, ShriRaghubar Das, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand, ShriSantoshGangwar, Minister of State of Labour and Employment, Government of India, ShriMansukh L Mandviya , Minister of State for Shipping, Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, ShriPurushottamRupala, Minister of State for Agriculture, Co-operative and Farmer Welfare, Government of India, ShriKailashChoudhary, Minister of State for Agriculture, Co-operative and Farmer Welfare and many other dignitaries.
These are some of the important events during the function:-
• Inaugurated India’s 2nd Riverine Multimodel Terminal at Sahebganj District of Jharkhand. This terminal has been built by Inland Waterways Division of India on river Ganga.
• Inaugurated of newly built state of art VidhanSabha building of Jharkhand.
• Laid foundation stone of new state of art Secretariat of Jharkhand to be built with an estimated cost of Rs.1280 crores.
• Launched nationwide PradhamantriKisanMaanDhanYojna, a scheme for pensions to farmers. Every farmer will get pension of Rs. 3000/- after the age of 60.
• LaunchedPradhanmantriLaghuVyaparikMaanDhanYojna and ‘Swarojgar’ pension scheme for small traders.
• Inaugurated 462 Eklavya Model Residential School being setup all over India.

NIC, Jharkhand gave full support for setup of IT Cell for PMO Camp Office at Prabhat Tara Maidan, Ranchi and other IT activities. Webcasting was done successfully. Support was also provided for social media coverage.
